Try going to a DOS prompt and then to the mapped server drive where the Plus.exe file is located, then type in PLUS and see if any error messages show up - when the screen goes blank from the Windows desktop, it is trying to run the DOS Accpac program, but cannot complete the process - doing it from the dos prompt should offer additional information - it sounds like files\folders have been moved around or perhaps corrupted - usually corruption is caused by power blinks or even someone running a virus scan and deleting some file required - you may have to reinstall the Accpac System Manager program if there is corruption, or maybe restoring from a recent backup - there is a very good Accpac Plus support site www.pluscommunity.com
that may be able to add more suggestions - you are working with software no longer supported by the manufacturer (Sage), so good luck
