I have two companies on OWP, one large one that I transferred to QuickBooks, and one small one that I kept on OWP. When I open the small company I get a warning message that says: An error occured while opening this company. "Unable to connect to database server: specified database is invalid" Try the following items, one at a time: 1. Close all other programs. 2. Restart windows. If the problem persists, press the help button to see the troubleshooting section in online help.
Well, I did restart the computer, and I even unplugged an replugged the computer another time before I restarted it. The message still appears. I went to the help as suggested and another message read: An error in this Help file. Contact your application vendor for an updated Help file. (1053) Any suggestions as to what I should do because everyone knows I can not contact anyone any longer. Also, my large company and the practice company both open fine.
