Improves Visibility via Executive Dashboards and Management Reports - Prodiance ESM v5.3 provides more visibility into critical spreadsheet processes with a new executive dashboard with graphical charts and drill down into an extensive library of reports. The dashboard enables tracking of spreadsheet inventory and risk assessment results, approval status, alerts, exceptions and other key spreadsheet metrics. For Microsoft Office SharePoint Server 2007 implementations, the dashboard charts can be displayed in the SharePoint Server portal using Excel Services, the SharePoint Business Data Catalog, or SQL Server reports.

Leverages Microsoft Office SharePoint Server 2007 - While the Prodiance ESM system has been integrated with Microsoft Office SharePoint Server 2007 for some time, the new version delivers significant enhancements such as support for file delete, file move, and file rename events in SharePoint Server document libraries. This feature allows files to be deleted, moved or renamed in either system while keeping the databases in synch. In addition, support has been added for Microsoft Windows Server 2008 and Microsoft SQL Server 2008. Prodiance continues to offer support for files stored on network shares.

Accelerates Review & Approval - To improve change management and accelerate approval processes, Prodiance ESM v5.3 incorporates a new and completely redesigned graphical compare module. This application allows spreadsheet reviewers to compare spreadsheet versions side-by-side to immediately see what has changed since the last approval, thus speeding review cycles leading to quicker closes.

Improves Security & Data Integrity - Although Prodiance ESM v5.3 is a web based application, certain highly regulated environments may require controls over user input to spreadsheets to improve spreadsheet security and integrity. To satisfy this requirement, Prodiance ESM v5.3 provides an optional Excel add-in to enforce cell level security and input data validation, and control access to macros, data connections, queries, and worksheets per user or group.

Highly Scalable Solution - To enhance system scalability, Prodiance ESM v5.3 supports purging and archival of previous versions of spreadsheets and Access databases. This feature is critical for optimizing database size and file storage space for enterprise wide implementations.
