Clarus Expands Executive Team Naming New Chief Operating Officer
ATLANTA--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Aug. 16, 2001--Clarus Corporation (Nasdaq:CLRS - news) recently announced an addition to its executive team naming Sean Feeney Chief Operating Officer. Feeney joins Clarus with an extensive background in sales, marketing and operations in the enterprise and e-commerce software markets.
As COO, Feeney will have direct responsibility for all sales, marketing, development, and services operations. The executive team of Steve Hornyak, Chief Strategy Officer and Executive Vice President, Jim McDevitt, Chief Financial Officer, Mike Mattox, Corporate Affairs and General Counsel and Feeney, COO, will all report to Steve Jeffery, who will continue as CEO and president.

Feeney spent 10 years in the software and electronic commerce industry, holding executive positions with Checkfree Software and Dun & Bradstreet Corporation. Feeney served as President of the Software Division and Executive Vice President, Electronic Commerce Field Operations while at CheckFree, immediately leading the company's software division through a successful reorganization. In addition, Feeney had responsibility for increasing new electronic billing accounts at Checkfree by over 100% with increased competition in 2000.

Most recently, Feeney served as CEO of OneSource Relocation, formerly clickandmove.com, an internet company focused on the business-to-consumer and corporate relocation market. At OneSource, Feeney completed two acquisitions of traditional relocation companies and evolved the strategy into B2B internet relocations.
