Clarus Corp Expects BarclaysB2 Billion To Terminate Pacts
ATLANTA -(Dow Jones)- Clarus Corp. expects BarclaysB2B to terminate its current software product and service agreements with the company as a result of Barclays (NYSE: BCS - News) ' decision to discontinue its external operations to focus on internal cost cuts.
A spokesman for Clarus wasn't immediately available to provide financial details of the companies' agreements.
Last December, BarclaysB2B, the business-to-business arm of Barclays PLC , announced that Clarus would provide technical infrastructure for the e- procurement portal.
In a press release Wednesday, Clarus, which provides business-to-business electronic commerce services, said its second-quarter conference call is scheduled for July 24 , during which it will also set out its plans to continue reducing its operating expenses in the third quarter.
