Red Wing Payroll Software Continues to Streamline Processes with Version 10.0 Release
Red Wing, MN - October 24, 2005 - Red Wing Software, Inc. announced a new version of Red Wing Windows Payroll Software which will be released November 30, 2005. Along with tax form and reporting updates, the new Red Wing Payroll version 10.0 includes enhancements to further streamline the payroll process and make information even easier to access.
Red Wing Software has added the ability for companies to customize their employee list reports according to their own parameters, and can now save as many versions of this report as they choose for easy future access. A brand new report has also been added, allowing employers to see available sick and vacation hours, highlighting any employees about to exceed their available time. Another new time-saving tool is the Comprehensive Mass Deduction Update, with the ability to change all like deduction amounts with the click of a button. Other ease of use changes include the option for elimination of mouse clicks during time entry, and more convenient viewing of the payroll menu.
"The enhancements in version 10.0 will speed up the process of running payroll and provide added flexibility for companies small and large," said Jon Isackson, Product Manager.
Tax Form changes include all standard format and year-end changes to the federal forms, as well as the addition of a section for third party tax filers to include their information, a convenient alternative to providing information by hand or typewriter. Aatrix, Red Wing Software's third party State Tax reporting interface has been updated according to all state regulations and continues to be a source for automating quarterly and annual state reporting. Additionally, Aatrix can be used to electronically file many state tax forms.
